They're All Great! I purchased Vol. 1, loved it, and purchased two more, then was given the final two. I'm back for more! These are the most elegantly enriched adaptations of old standards. Some will take a bit of work, others not so much . . . but they are so worth whatever effort you need to master them. I also own the Christmas book - it just bumps up the level of sophistication in your playing. You MUST try these books, as they'll make you fall in love with playing all over again (for older folks) and open a whole new genre of tunes for younger (teen) pianists. — Connie Haines

Playing like a professional.This is my kind of music book, because it doesn't sound like you're playing from a book. It's not mechanical, but flowing. I would like to let Mrs. Lienhard know that I think her musical arrangements are fantastic! I am studying Jazz in Tampa, Florida, and am currently studying some of her arrangements. My teacher thought that Mrs. Lienhard's arrangements were a cut above, one step beyond, George Shearing's works! Hey, I've loved Shearing's recordings and transcriptions for years!
